Can I put “Glass Fish” and “Gold fish” in the same tank? And if I can, what do I feed the fish? March 3rd, 2008 I would not mix these fish since the gold fish are cold water fish and the glass catfish are tropical and have different temperature requirements. Glass catfish will need a heater and a temp of 72-80 degrees F and the gold fish do not need a heater. Also the glass catfish are very sensitive to poor water quality and the goldfish are much hartier and they produce alot of waste which
